The post Adler Realty Sells Shops at Oak Creek for $21,375,000 first appeared on Adler Realty.]]> Agoura Hills, CA (April 2012) – Adler Realty Investments announced today the sale of its newly developed Shops at Oak Creek in Agoura Hills, Calif. The Trader Joe’s anchored project was sold for $590 per square foot.

Adler had completed construction last year on the five building, 36,182 square foot, center which was 100% occupied when sold. The Shops at Oak Creek is located on Canwood Street, adjacent to 101 freeway at the Kanan Road interchange. The shopping center is quite successful and has become a favorite gathering place for local residents who enjoy the variety of retailers and outside dining environment.

In addition to Trader Joe’s, tenants include Panda Express, The Habit, Jinky’s, Sotheby’s, Freebird World Burrito, Stone Ground Bakery, Urban Café, Verizon, Savvy Beauty & Salon, and the Olive Vineyard. “We are excited with the outcome of this project, the architectural design, and the success that the tenants are having,” said Michael Adler, President of Adler Realty Investments. Matthew May of May Realty Advisors represented seller and buyer in the sale.

StoneGround Baking Company is currently a Kosher Pareve European-style bakery that prepares it products using only natural ingredients and no preservatives.  In the new location, StoneGround will expand its product offering from freshly baked Kosher Pareve breads, pastries, and desserts, and will include pizza (made from scratch), gelato, and a new dessert section featuring Kosher dairy pastries, chocolates, and desserts prepared by the new in-house pastry chef.  StoneGround is committed to giving back to the community and employs over 20 full time employees, many of them local residents and students residing in the community.

The Shops at Oak Creek is a new 35,000 square foot retail center located at 28941- 29145 Canwood Street in Agoura Hills, California.  The center is anchored by Trader Joe’s. Other tenants include Panda Express, The Habit, and Verizon Wireless. “We are excited about adding StoneGroundBaking Company to our retail center,” said developer Michael Adler, President of Adler Realty Investments, Inc.  “We are proud of the mix of tenants we have at the center, providing exceptional shopping and dining experiences to our local community.”
